Mummy Bakes - Nutella Cake with 2 ingredients
So happy I can now tell the world that I've baked a cake! Wahahahaha! A very simple one with just 2 ingredients! No thanks to Mr Lim's post on instagram, I got enticed to want to try bake the yummy looking Nutella Cake. So the plan to get a cheap handheld mixer to get this hidden baking mojo in me started. Thanks to Abang, he bought me a Philips Handheld Mixer at just $39 from Best Denki. And after a few SMSes, he got what I needed from his shopping trip and we bought the remaining tools from Phoon Huat near my office after work. Once home, my first baking adventure began...

The recipe consists of just 2 ingredients: Eggs and Nutella! Recipe used is from here.

I used 6 eggs instead of 4 as I felt my eggs were a little too small to be categorized as large eggs. And I also added 60gm more Nutella (total of 300gm) into the mixture.

The Philips Handheld Mixer was smaller in size as I'd imagined, and it wasn't hard to control. I'd imagined it to go wild when I turn on the switch and the mixture will splash all over my kitchen! I've got great imagination right? LOL!
After about 8 to 10 minutes of mixing, my hand got a little tired and numbed. The mixer felt a little hot too. That's when my eggs were mixed enough.

In 3 batches, the eggs was poured and folded into the melted Nutella.

I poured the mixture into a big and tiny baking tray, tiny one to be shared that night, and the big one for friends at work to try.

After about 30 minutes, the oven beeped and this was what I got! Freshly baked Nutella Cake! My whole house smelled of Nutella! So yummy!

Add a scoop of Haagen Dazs Macadamia Nut Brittle ice-cream and it was PERFECT!!! I am so going to bake this again soon!

Looking out for more easy to bake cake recipes. If you have any more tried and tested ones, please do share ok? Thanks thanks!
Listing some other recipes I hope to try one day...
